Two Rivers School Mini project takes shape Back to results

Team TRS Racing, a group of students at Two Rivers School in Tamworth, Staffordshire, have begun work on their next project - the restoration (or perhaps that should be resurrection) of a 1980 Mini.  The school's Mini Project came about in response to the enormous interest but long waiting list for their Greenpower Team. 

Greenpower is an Electric Car Race for schools, created to inspire the next generation of engineers by asking students to design, build and race their creations, gaining invaluable practical and personal experience.

Safety Devices are a Team TRS sponsor, and supplied a free weld-in roll cage for the Mini, which, although just a shell at the moment, has grand visions of becoming a "pureblood racer".  In the meantime, there is "rust, rust and more rust" to be addressed.  Good luck Team TRS!
