BMW Compact Cup this Sunday 22nd Sept, Donington Park - Safety Devices' Chris Platt on the track! Back to results

The next races in the Marangoni Gaz Shocks BMW Compact Cup take place this Sunday 22nd September at Donington Park.  This time, our roll cage designer Chris Platt will get behind the driver's seat of the Safety Devices BMW Compact, prepared by Raw Motorsport with livery by Pure D-zign.  Safety Devices' B034 roll cage is the exclusive cage for the Series.

Chris is feeling confident he can handle what comes his way on track after last week's test day - sliding down Craner Curves backwards at 60mph put a few more hairs on his chest!  Some good old fashioned in-house rivallry should also spur Chris on to try to do better than our other designer, Aeron, did at Silverstone last month.  Aeron made it in to the final stages before an unforseeable mechanical failure forced his exit from the race.

This Sunday's races already have 32 entries with qualifying at 9.05am, the first race at 2.25pm and the second at 4.55pm.  In between, there is a full schedule of races to see (750 Motor Club, Premier Choice Group, Demon Tweeks / Yokohama), plus the Donington Sunday Market nearby, so it's sure to be a great day out.

Good luck Chris!  Do us proud!
