Safety Devices intends to recommence manufacture of a limited range of rear steps for the Land Rover Defender range during the first half of 2012. These products have been designed and tested for use in the UK. Outside the UK you should check with your local Road Transport Authority.

Defender 90/110/130 Heavy Duty Front Bumper RBL248 6SSS

A complete front steel bumper solution built for strength with tubular front guards to give added protection to your vehicle, and includes the following features:

• Front winch mounting (detailed below)
• Front recovery points
• Brackets for bush cables/ limb risers to be fitted
• 3 x spot light mountings
• Sump guard mounting frame (sump guard available soon)
• Zinc coated and powder coat black finish

The bumper fits directly on to both the end and the side of the chassis rails and also comes with a mounting for a sump guard which is to be completed soon. The bumper has an aperture designed to take the following Warn winch models*: M6000, M8000, XD9000, XD9000i, 9.5XP.

* Please note that some winch models may require trimming of the bodywork around where the winch mounts due to their size and is dependent on the specification of the vehicle.

The bumper is available in the USA exclusively through ECR, Maine, and in the rest of the world via our network of Dealers.  However, please note that the bumper does not conform to European Union Directive 2005/66/EC, and therefore cannot be used within the EU.

Defender 90 Rear Step RBL056

A heavy duty steel rear step with LR landing mat, designed to be bolted onto the rear of your Defender 90 (XA onwards). This rear step provides a standard towing attachment point for ball or pin hitches if required however, at present we are awaiting authorization for it to be used as such (which we hope to gain in early 2012).   The rear step is relatively easy to fit and does not involve any cutting, welding or drilling.

Defender 110 Rear Step RBL057

This heavy duty steel rear step is designed to be bolted onto the rear of your Defender (currently for only the pre XA but we are developing one for current models). Although almost identical to the 90 rear step, at present we are awaiting authorization of the standard towing attachment point (we hope to gain authorization in early 2012). This is a relatively easy addition to fit and does not involve any cutting, welding or drilling.
