This ROPS decider is for guidance only. You will be asked 10 questions about your vehicles, Company policy, attitude to risk and training at the end of which you will be given one of four results. However two things should be borne in mind, even a low risk situation can result in injury or death from roll over and secondly the modern ROPS provides a protective space for more than just a roll over event –it will help in a vehicle collision, hitting a solid object such as a tree, building or street furniture as well as falling objects.
