RAF Typhoon pilots test their speed on solid ground

The RAF Typhoon (Eurofighter) pilots tried a change of pace during the Ma5da Racing Championship at Donnington by performing a parade lap. 

 

The Typhoons have a thrust of 20,000lbs each and a maximum speed of 2Mach - surely a pale comparison to the Safety Devices MX5!
